SATA COMMITTEES
SATA has recently established three committees that will give our members an opportunity to directly participate in the evolution and growth of our association and also contribute to the development of the advanced technology sector in our province.
The Committees are:
o The Membership & Sponsorship Committee
o The Events Committee
o The Advanced Technology Strategy Committee
Each of the committees is chaired by a SATA board member and is open to any SATA member. We have a full slate of participants for our Strategy Committee, but are still looking for additional members for the Membership and Events Committees.
If you would like an opportunity to shape the future of Saskatchewan’s advanced technology industry, please contact Laurel Reich at lreich@sata.ca or (306) 244-3889 and indicate which committee you have an interest in.
Membership & Sponsorship Committee
The Membership & Sponsorship Committee undertakes activities to promote, build, and retain SATA membership and develop sponsorship opportunities for companies wishing to support the growth of the advanced technology sector in Saskatchewan.
The committee identifies potential members and develops strategies for attracting those groups and individuals to become SATA members, as well as, educating potential members on the role and activities of SATA and the benefits of membership.
Events Committee
The Events Committee conceives and organizes events that provide a venue for SATA members and other stakeholders in the advanced technology sector to network, learn, share information, and participate in activities that influence the development of the advanced technology industry in the province.
Advanced Technology Strategy Committee
The Advanced Technology Strategy Committee is coordinating the creation of a strategic plan which will support the development and growth of Saskatchewan’s advanced technology sector. The Committee ensures that all stakeholders are engaged throughout the planning, organizing, execution, and follow up stages of the strategic planning process.
