ABOUT SATA

The Saskatchewan Advanced Technology Association (SATA) was formed in 2000 to represent the province’s advanced technology industry. SATA is a non-profit corporation aimed at bringing together Saskatchewan based technology companies and organizations to develop and enhance the advanced technology sector in the province.

SATA has grown to almost 200 members representing six advanced technology industry sectors:

• Information & Communication Technology
• Interactive Media
• Instrumentation & Electronics
• Aerospace
• Manufacturing
• Industry Support Services

The corporate structure of SATA is made up of an executive director and project managers all of which are directed by an elected board of directors. SATA utilizes ad hoc working committees, made up of SATA members, to develop programming, tackle business issues, attract business opportunities, and develop the growth strategy for our provincial industry.
